My Teaching Journey

Hi, I’m Sarah! Since starting my teaching career in 2013, I’ve worked across Prep to Year 6 as a classroom teacher, teacher librarian, and curriculum coordinator. Alongside this, I’ve completed a Bachelor of Education (Honours), a Master of Education, and a Master of Education (Teacher Librarianship). Over the years, I’ve learnt so much—both from successes and challenges—and I’m passionate about sharing that knowledge with new teachers in the way I wish it had been shared with me.

Inspiring a Love of Reading

I’m equally dedicated to nurturing a lifelong love of reading. Through my online reading groups, I offer relaxed spaces where students from lower primary to high school can grow as readers—whether by reading aloud, joining discussions, or simply enjoying the story.
